Healthy Food Resolution UPDATE

Health foods are key to living a healthy sustainable lifestyle. The image below is a combination of one of the healthiest foods you can add to your daily diet. The vegetables that I used in the photograph are bell peppers, tomatoes and potatoes. Bell Peppers are amongst my favourite vegetables because of it is packed with vitamin A and B providing 428% of the daily recommended value in just one cup. A study also shows that eating carrots may reduce the risk of lung cancer in smokers as well. They also contain high amounts in vitamin C. Potatoes are one of the best vegetables because you can roast then, fry them, boil etc. You can essentially do anything to make potatoes taste great. The vegetable helps protect the heart from disease causing oxidative stress. The water content of tomatoes is around 95%. The other 5% consists mainly of carbohydrates and fibre. Tomatoes have 18 calories and does not have many fats. They also contain vitamin C, potassium and vitamin B9. Going in composing this image I positioned all the vegetables directly proportionate to the window light. I had to diffuse the light coming in because the highlights were way too intense. In post-production I just edited the burnout areas and made the image a lot more vibrant.
