Portrait photography is one of the most popular genres of photography, with good reason. Good portrait photographers are able to capture the personality and emotion of people around them, along with earning money via wedding photography, senior portraits, family photography sessions, and so on. If you’re a photographer (portrait or product, especially), you learn that the right lens could make or break a shot. I mean, think about the condensation that drips down your ice cold Coca Cola bottle or the way sunlight sits on a person’s cheek — you want that shot

As an aspired portrait photographer it is important to draw inspiration from other creative or different types of art. Any piece of art inspires me whether it’s the colour used or simply how thee image was captured. It is also important to think outside the box. You don’t want your work to always look like someone else’s work but you should start you own thing that other people will draw inspiration from.

As a portrait photographer it is always important to come up with new ideas and sometimes those ideas will comes easily to you and other times it will be extremely hard. One piece of advice I have taken from a fellow photographer is always practice so that your work can improve.
